Alex grew up in a Christian home where he trusted Christ as his Savior as a young boy. He met his future wife while attending church in Houston, Texas. He and his wife were married in 1997 and have two adult children.

Alex obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston (1993) and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law (1996). After almost 25 years of practicing law, Alex left the legal profession and entered ministry full-time in the year 2020.

Alex served as Associate Pastor of Pine Valley Bible Church in Houston, Texas, from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, he obtained a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Since 2020, he has served as Pastor of Fredericksburg Bible Church in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Alex’s ministry-approach is straightforward: proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and shepherd God’s people. At the core of this approach is the preaching of the Word of God so that God’s people may be strengthened and equipped to do His work, for His glory (Ezra 7:10; Ephesians 4:12-15; 2 Timothy 4:2).
